Woman Panics When She Sees Tiny Eyes Peeking From The Bathroom Sink

A surprising turn of events recently unfolded in a Florida home. The scene took place in the bathroom when a woman named Cathy went to use the sink.

What she discovered was totally unexpected, leaving her in panic.

A man named Brian was doing usual things in his home in Florida when he suddenly heard his wife Cathy screaming in the bathroom. He rushed to check on her and was stunned by what they both discovered.

It turned out that a tiny frog had somehow made his way into the sink’s overflow hole. When Cathy went to use the sink, she noticed a pair of tiny eyes staring right at her.

She began panicking and screaming until she and Brian figured out who their unexpected guest was. Brian shared in an interview:

“My wife screamed when she first saw the head poking through the overflow hole. We think he entered our plumbing from a toilet vent on our roof, which is common in Florida.”

Brian and Cathy tried to remove the frog but couldn’t get him out. They thought he might leave on his own if they left him alone. However, days passed, and the frog didn’t leave the bathroom sink’s overflow hole.

Initially, they thought the poor frog was stuck inside, but later, they realized he had been coming in and out of the spot, based on the evidence they found.

After figuring this out, the couple tried coaxing the frog out to set him free in nature. During this time, they shared their unusual encounter on TikTok, and the frog, whom they named Sinkfrog, quickly went viral.

Despite their efforts, Sinkfrog didn’t want to come out, so they decided to give him some time as they didn’t want to hurt him.

Finally, after several weeks, Sinkfrog decided to come out in front of the couple. They excitedly shared a video showing that Sinkfrog was free.

However, what happened next was totally unexpected. It turned out that Sinkfrog was a Cuban Tree Frog, a species considered invasive in Florida. Therefore, letting him go would have been irresponsible.

Brian explained they had two different options, euthanize the frog or keep him, and guess what they decided? Of course, the couple was determined to keep Sinkfrog.

The next day, they bought a large terrarium and excitedly set it up for their new pet. After spending weeks with the frog in their bathroom, they just couldn’t imagine it any other way. Brian added:

“Once we freed Sinkfrog, we’ve been able to observe and interact with him, which helps build a bond between us. Now, he’s got it good. I still look into that hole every time I go into that bathroom, looking for a little head. Then I remember Sinkfrog is living large in his new terrarium.”

Neither Brian nor Cathy ever imagined they’d have a pet frog, but the bathroom sink incident took an unexpected turn, and look where that led them. Sinkfrog is now a cherished member of their family, living his best life.
