In Portland, Oregon, Mark Graves had a feeling that something cool could happen if he set up a trail camera in his backyard. And guess what? He was totally right!
Just one night after he put the camera up, Mark witnessed something amazing. A clever raccoon, which he named Knottingham, strolled into his yard and found a rope tied to the fence.
Instead of giving up, Knottingham decided to tackle the problem head-on. With some impressive skills, the raccoon untied the rope and moved it out of the way. What a way to show off some serious problem-solving talent!
Mark was so blown away by Knottingham’s skills that he shared the video on YouTube and other social media.
The video immediately went viral, and people all over the world fell in love with Knottingham. The raccoon’s cleverness became a hot topic, and soon Knottingham was famous!
Inspired by this little genius, Mark thought it would be fun to add more challenges to his backyard obstacle course.
He included new things like knots, a rubber ball, and a small cedar board, curious to see what other tricks Knottingham could do.
Knottingham, always up for some fun, tackled the new challenges without any problem. It untied knots like a pro, played with the rubber ball, and even climbed the cedar board. So, is it just a trash panda or a tiny genius?
While Mark was really impressed by this raccoon’s abilities, and I totally get why, I think the best way to decide is to check it out for yourself here:
