Not long ago, a beautiful parrot faced a rather grim future. With its beak severely damaged to the point of not existing, the poor thing had slim chances of survival.
Fortunately, it was rescued by Paulo Roberto Martins Nunziata, a kind-hearted individual who runs his own bird rescue and preservation center. Over many years, he has saved numerous birds in need.
Paulo was determined to give the parrot a second chance at life by fitting it with a brand-new prosthetic beak.
He teamed up with Doctor Maria Angela Panelli, and together they worked diligently to construct a new beak that would not only prolong the parrot’s life but also significantly improve its quality.

The parrot bravely got through his surgery and was soon fitted with a new beak. Paulo and Dr. Maria ensured it was sturdy and damage-resistant, able to withstand most external impacts – just like a natural beak.
However, Paulo decided it would be best not to release the parrot back into the wild but to keep it as an indoor bird, ensuring its safety and protection.
Thus, the parrot remained with him, enjoying the benefits of making Paulo’s rescue center its new home.
