Imagine the heartache of losing a beloved pet and the emptiness that follows. Now, imagine the overwhelming joy of finding them again after nearly two years!

When Dean and Alison lost their beloved cat Kizzy, they were devastated. They’d searched everywhere, asking neighbors, putting up flyers, and checking local shelters.

Yet, Kizzy was nowhere to be found. Months passed, and she never returned.

Then, out of the blue, a glimmer of hope appeared. A compassionate rescuer Natasha McPhee found a deaf cat huddled near a gutter. She was weak, hungry, and covered in fleas, having survived on scraps of food.

Natasha took the kitty to a local shelter, where she got the care she desperately needed. The staff named her Moose and described her as an elderly, deaf cat with a voracious appetite.

Despite her condition, Natasha felt that Moose was someone’s lost pet, so she shared her photo on Facebook, hoping to find her owners.

While scrolling through Facebook, Alison spotted the post and immediately recognized her long-lost Kizzy.

She reached out to Natasha, and soon after, an update on Facebook revealed the joyful news: Kizzy had been found!

Dean and Alison were overwhelmed with disbelief and joy. Nearly two years had passed, and their cat was coming home.

After receiving treatment for her ailments, Kizzy was ready to be reunited with her family. Healthy and full of life again, she was set to spend her golden years surrounded by love.

The emotional moment of their reunion was captured on video. As Dean scooped Kizzy up, she recognized his scent and began to cry, as Alison shared in the caption:

“We picked up Kizzy this morning from the lovely Natasha McPhee at Animals Lost and Found. It took Kizzy a while to pick up on Dean’s scent as she is totally deaf now. But when she did she cried.”

After everything Kizzy’s been through, it’s wonderful to see her back in the arms of her loving owners, ready to enjoy her golden years.

Here’s to many more happy moments and cherished memories for Kizzy and her family!
