While driving along the road, the man saw a quick movement in the mud on the side. Realizing that some little animal was in trouble, he stopped his car to help.
Covered in mud, it was hard to see what it was at first, but then the long spikes on its back appeared – a hedgehog!
It Was Completely Covered In Mud And Unable To Move
The man decided to record the rescue, gently asking the hedgehog, “What happened to you? Stuck in mud!”
Anyone familiar with hedgehogs understands that they’re not very huggable. Their cute faces come with sharp spines to protect themselves from danger.
Man Rushes To Help
When a hedgehog is scared, those spines stick out in every direction, but that didn’t stop the man from helping out.
He bent down and attempted to pick up the hedgehog, but the mud kept the little animal stuck. Not giving up, the man carefully moved the hedgehog by its legs, eventually releasing it from the sticky mud.
Planning How To Set The Hedgehog Free From Its Trap
Free but obviously scared, the hedgehog rolled into a ball and stayed still. Knowing the thick mud would be uncomfortable for the small creature, the man realized he had to do something more, so he chose to give it a bath.
The hedgehog was surprisingly calm during its bath time. The man carefully washed off the dirt, and the hedgehog even rolled over to make sure its belly was clean too.
He Pulled The Tiny Hedgehog Out And Began To Rinse The Mud Off
After the bath, the man put the hedgehog back on the grass. He was happy he saw the little animal and knew it would have been in trouble if he hadn’t noticed it.
I believe it’s really important to learn some things about hedgehogs. They’re not just cute animals that visit gardens; they actually have a very important role in our ecosystems.
They help keep the balance by controlling pests, and when they’re around, it means the environment is healthy.
He Gave The Hedgehog A Good Rinse And It’s Face Started To Show
