Homeowner From Missouri Shocked To Discover 40 Eyes Staring Back At Him From Mystery Bins

One morning was full of surprises for a homeowner in Missouri. It all began when he noticed an unknown car approaching his house.

Curious, he stepped outside and saw a woman dumping two large totes in his front yard. Just as he was about to react, the woman drove off, but what happened next left him completely shocked.

Unable to stop the woman, the man went to inspect the mysterious bins. But when he opened them, he was shocked to see 40 eyes staring back at him.

Both bins abandoned in his front yard were full of cats and kittens of all ages, breeds, and colors.

Though shocked, the man knew what to do. He picked up the bind and took the cats straight to Stray Rescue of St. Louis. After explaining the situation to the shelter staff, they immediately took the cats under their care.

In the first bin, there were eight 6-week-old kittens, old enough to eat independently. However, in the second bin, there were two adult cats and ten babies who were still nursing.

Each cat required different levels of care, but sadly, the St. Louis’ rescue was almost full, so they quickly needed another solution.

The shelter staff put out a desperate plea for foster homes on Facebook, and to everyone’s surprise, by the next day, each cat had its perfect match.

The kittens from the first bin were named the “Sailor” family, and they went to foster homes in groups of two and four.

Meanwhile, the kittens from the second bin were named the “Fried Green Tomato family,” and they all went to a cozy foster home together, so the kittens could nurse in peace.

One of the foster parents, Nathan Light, who welcomed four Sailor kittens into his home, shared in an interview:

“They’re all doing great and adjusting to their temporary home. We have several people interested in adopting them already.”

Each kitten quickly adjusted to their new surroundings and foster families. They are all doing great, but their favorite activities are sleeping and cuddling.

Most of the kittens have already found their future families and will be going to their forever homes soon.

After a rough start in life, all these cats and kittens finally have a chance for a new and happy life, just as they deserve, and I couldn’t be more excited for them.
