Today’s story is about such a hard-working fox mom, who found an unusual place to hide her babies from the dangers around them.

A family was sitting on their porch one day when the dad heard some scratching sounds coming from underneath their wooden deck. At first, they didn’t think much of it, but as time went on, the scratching became louder.

Worried it might be a wild and aggressive animal, the family contacted Gates Wildlife Control, an organization that helps remove wild animals from people’s homes.

The family patiently waited for the rescuers to arrive, curious about what was hiding underneath their porch.

Once the rescuers arrived, they removed the wooden deck piece by piece. One of the rescuers peeked inside and was met by 7 adorable baby foxes!

It turned out that their mom decided to create a den for her litter underneath the family’s porch, but there was one problem.

The gap between the deck and the floor was way too tiny, and the adorable fox family was squished with little to no space for movement.

The rescuers decided to take the baby foxes out one by one while keeping an eye out for mama fox.

They knew their mom would be back soon, so the rescuers did their best to remove the babies quickly. The adorable litter seemed to be healthy, with chubby bellies and fluffy coats.

They decided to place the baby foxes in a wooden box right next to the deck. The team placed a camera and shortly after mama fox came back for her babies!

She took the baby foxes one by one and carried them to the safety of a nearby forest, where she would find a new den for her tiny family.
