A couple of days ago, I stumbled upon a hilarious video that I simply have to share with you.
In the video, 33-year-old Brian Surguy from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, tries to help a bunch of ducklings up a steep curb.
However, his benevolent rescue mission soon takes a hilarious turn.
As Brian was helping the little ducklings, their mother arrived, flying straight towards him and biting him on the chest.
The protective mother didn’t view his actions as helpful but rather as a threat to her babies that she needed to deal with immediately.
What started as a good man’s attempt to help fragile animals in his neighborhood quickly turned into an unusual duck duel.
Thankfully, the entire scene was filmed by Brian’s girlfriend, Sarah Mikkelsen, who can be heard laughing in the background.

In an interview with SWNS, the South Carolina couple described how they were on their way to dinner, hoping to relax after a long, hard-working day.
Recalling the event, Sarah said:
“We saw the ducks and their mom crossing in front of us which made us stop the truck for about two minutes. When they got to the other side, the mother kept going and the ducklings were stuck! Brian got out and decided to help give them a little boost, so I immediately started videoing because I thought it was sweet of him. But, it turned out to be the most entertaining thing ever! Even whilst being attacked, He did not even think twice about giving up.”
She later added:
“We actually saw them the next day all together swimming in the pond.”
Brian and Sarah never expected their day to turn out the way it did, but I think we’re all glad Brian found himself in this hilarious situation.
