Dogs Find The ‘Weakest Link’ In The House And Now Dad Can’t Eat In Peace

Two Cavapoo siblings, Peanut and Pablo, have captured the internet’s heart after their mom revealed they’ve figured out who’s the easiest target for sneaking snacks in the house.

And now, poor dad can’t enjoy a meal without being surrounded by the sneaky pups.

In a hilarious TikTok video shared by their owner, Sarah Gillis, the two dogs can be seen giving dad their undivided attention as he tries to enjoy a pizza on the couch. Meanwhile, mom, sitting right next to him, gets to eat her meal in peace.

“When you aren’t the weak link and enjoy your food in peace,” the video caption reads, summing up the situation perfectly.

Sarah told Newsweek

“Peanut and Pablo, my two very lovable, cheeky dogs watching my boyfriend eat pizza because they know he’s the weak link who is most likely to share.”

It’s common for dogs to beg or try to steal food, but that doesn’t mean it’s healthy for them. Some human foods, like chocolate, onions, or grapes, can be dangerous for dogs.

Thankfully, with positive reinforcement training, you can teach your pups to leave your food alone. This method not only helps shape their behavior but also strengthens the bond between dogs and their owners, making learning a positive experience.

The video of Peanut and Pablo’s antics quickly went viral, racking up over 500,000 views and 180,000 likes on TikTok. Viewers couldn’t resist sharing their own experiences of being the “weak link” when it comes to their pets.

One person wrote, “My dog and my sisters dog will choose me to stare down like they are both starved. I am indeed the weak link.” Another user joked,

“Out loud I always complain but I actually have zero problem with being the weak link. As a spare human I got to buy that attention somehow.”
