After securing the dog, the rescuers brought him to the Dog Care Clinic to receive the necessary care and treatments.
The specialized team at the clinic had to work carefully to avoid injuring the dog while removing as much tar as possible so he could receive a proper bath.
Although the process wasn’t easy, the team managed to remove the tar from the dog’s skin and fur, but it did leave the consequences.
The rescuers named the dog Kian and continued caring for him, but he didn’t seem to accept their help. He was still terrified of people, ignored his caregivers, and even refused to eat the delicious food they offered him.
Fortunately, his caregivers refused to give up on him. They knew he just needed time to start trusting them and to finally accept their help.
What happened next showed that the rescuers were right. Slowly but surely, Kian began eating and started enjoying affection. He even allowed his caregivers to take care of his damaged skin, which quickly began to improve as a result.
After nearly three months, Kian blossomed into a completely new dog. He became the friendliest and most affectionate dog of all.
