Many people have their dog or cat as a ring bearer at their wedding, but this couple went above and beyond – they hired their dog to film the entire event!
When Ellie Woods met her partner, the family member she was most eager for them to meet was Bobby – her black and white pet dog, or in this story: the cameraman.
Bobby has always been a big part of their love story and has been included in everything Ellie did. So, naturally, when they started planning their wedding, Bobby was a crucial part of that as well.
In fact, he was so crucial that they entrusted him with one of the most important tasks for the day.
The couple decided to have their ceremony filmed from Bobby’s perspective, thinking it would be fun to watch and always cherish the memory. Before the wedding began, they fixed a GoPro camera to Bobby’s back, and off he went.
Some dogs might shimmy or feel uncomfortable, but Bobby was just fine. I guess he realized how important his job was that day – like a true professional!

Or maybe he just enjoys being in the spotlight. As Georgie says, “He loves being the center of attention.” So it felt natural to him, and he loved the job.
Ellie and Georgie admit it was very special, unique, and most of all, meaningful to have Bobby at their wedding. As Ellie said in an interview:
“It was so important to have him, as part of our big day.”
After it was all over the happy couple sat down to watch their wedding video. It was surprising and heartwarming, to say the least. Bobby has done quite the job!
