Friendship is what makes this world beautiful. Having a friend with whom you can share everything is truly amazing.
Now and then I encounter some unusual friendships that make me stop and scratch my head for a second.
Friendships like a cat and a dog, a girl, and a python, and the list goes on. Today I’m about to introduce you to one of my favorite unusual friendships, between a cat and a meerkat.
Let me introduce you to Nice, and her best friend Surya, a meerkat. How the two became best buddies is pretty simple, Nice’s mom Ekaterina was fostering baby Surya when she was a tiny little meerkat.
At the time Nice was two years old and was about to get a friend for life! Although her mom was only supposed to foster little Surya, she fell in love and this is how this adorable meerkat became a foster fail.
Unable to live in the wilderness, Surya got a second chance at life and enjoys it. Alongside Nice, the two wake up their mom Ekaterina every morning.
Once they receive their daily dose of treats and cuddles, they proceed to do what they know best – play.
Nice and Surya could spend all day chasing each other, playing with toys, and stealing their mom’s shoes, LOL!
However, one activity these two simply enjoy is cuddling. Whether they’re curled up next to each other or Surya is sleeping on top of Nice, the adorable duo just loves napping together. Who could blame them, am I right?
One more thing Surya has in common with her best friend Nice, is sunbathing. You know how cats always search for a warm spot in the house?
Well, Nice is no different when it comes to that. She always chases those sunbeams coming through the window and Surya tags along.
They curl up next to each other and take in the sun, while adorably cuddling each other! I bet this adorable cartoon-like friendship melted your heart away.
