If you are an outdoor or sports enthusiast who spends a lot of time being active and out and about, have you ever wondered how amazing it would be to share all that with a dog?

Well, I’ve thought about this a lot since having a ‘couch potato dog’ isn’t the best option for me. So if you enjoy all things nature and sport, I’ve prepared a list of perfect canine companions who share the same love for outdoor activities as you!

There are so many amazing traits this breed has to offer. First of all, the Bernese Mountain Dog will be the perfect companion for your family and your kids. 

Bred to be herd dogs, they are unbelievably intelligent and loyal. Bernese Mountain Dogs love cold weather, making them the ideal companions if you enjoy skiing and other winter activities.

Dalmatian is the perfect choice for all you hikers and runners! This famous and gorgeous dog breed is a loyal companion great for a family. However, sometimes they are wary of strangers.
