While they were taking in the beautiful view from one of the piers at Cocoa Beach, Florida, Brendon and his wife noticed something peculiar in the sea.

It was a windy day, and all of a sudden they noticed something being carried along with the waves.
Brendon tried to figure out what it was and he quickly realized that it was a bird. How the poor thing ended up in the ocean was uncertain, but seeing her struggle to fly away meant she was probably injured.

He realized the poor bird found herself in a grim situation and he had no idea how to help her. As he was talking about it with his wife, something amazing unfolded right before their eyes.

Since the waves invited many surfers, one surfer noticed the bird in need. He paddled straight towards the bird, not realizing he had secret admirers observing him from the pier.
Brendon’s family was cheering him up from the pier, as the surfer approached the bird. He scooped her up and realized she was unable to fly away.

The kind surfer put her on his board and slowly paddled towards the beach, making sure the poor bird stayed on his surfboard.
Luckily, the bird seemed like she was not having major injuries. The poor thing was just drenched and confused.

Thanks to the kind surfer who had no idea he was being admired from far away, this bird was saved from what could have been a fatal outcome.
I’m sure afterward she got the help she needed to recover and I’m glad kind people gave her a second chance at life!
