Remember when you were a kid and you lived for those moments when your parents brought you to the local zoo?
I could barely wait for the weekend to see all those majestic animals inches away from me.
Recently, a zoo advertised its new and exciting exhibit, featuring a species the zoo has never had before.
The new exhibit featured adorable pandas and people from the town were ecstatic to see them!
Kids were begging their parents to bring them for the opening and just like that a queue for the exhibit was stretched from the entrance to the parking lot!
People rushed inside and went straight to the panda exhibit and once they saw those adorable creatures from far away they had no idea something was way off…
One of the kids came close to the fence only to hear the panda panting. Confused, the boy looked at the panda when all of a sudden the panda barked!
He turned around and said to his parents what he just heard and once his parents came close, they realized they were actually looking at dogs.
The visitors were furious when they discovered the truth – the zoo didn’t have real pandas. Instead, they had painted dogs to resemble pandas.
Their spokesman said that the zoo never claimed to have actual pandas and that no dogs were harmed in this exhibit.
Most people were absolutely livid, but what surprised me was the fact that even after the zoo was exposed, people were still interested in these ‘pandas’.
They would still queue up just to take a glimpse at the panda dogs. Unbelievable, am I right?
Would you visit a zoo that exhibits panda dogs?
