This Adorable Snake Will Help You Overcome Your Fear Of Reptiles For Good

Sharing is caring!

First of all – I’m a huge fan of reptiles. Whether it’s snakes, lizards, or turtles, these animals have fascinated me ever since I was little.

Growing up I realized that not so many people share the same love for reptiles, especially snakes.

I can understand this in one way, considering just how many species are highly venomous. Even I wouldn’t dare to go near them, but this doesn’t stop me from admiring them.

With today’s story I hope you overcome your fear of snakes, so let’s dive straight into it!

The adorable snake in question goes by the name Linguini, just like the pasta. He is a Blonde Trans Pecos Rat Snake also known as Trans-Pecos Rat Snake.

His scales are the color of the Texas desert, which is an amazing camouflage in the wild. However, little Linguini lives far away from the Texas desert with his forever mom in California.

His owner started an Instagram account in Linguini’s name, hoping to help other people understand snakes better.

Linguini’s adorable videos have earned him internet fame, all because of one adorable feature. You see, most snakes have really scary features, from spiky scales to venomous rattle tails.

However, when you take a look at Linguini the first thing you notice are his googly eyes. Yes, you read that right, googly eyes!

His adorable round eyes make people go aww! Linguini loves slithering around his home and finding new places to sneak into.

His mom even went so far as to get him some adorable costumes, which instantly made him go from scary snake to adorable noodle! As his mom said in a video:

“He really loves his tiny hat and his capes, which make him look like a tiny Superman.”

Linguini is only three years old, with a life expectancy of 20 years! He will grow up to be 4 feet long, but he will stay a skinny noodle forever.

Caring for Linguini is super easy, as he only needs a few hours a day out of his tank and he eats only once a week.

However, having a snake as a pet comes with many other responsibilities and his mom reminds everyone to do proper research before buying a snake like Linguini.

Inside his tank he has many cool places to hide and explore, keeping his mind sharp! His mom loves posting hilarious, adorable, and educational videos over on Instagram, where so many people fell head over heels for Linguini.
