It breaks my heart when I think about how many animals today are in need of a forever home.
These poor souls are either in shelters, foster homes, or worse, on the streets, desperately waiting for someone special to offer them the love they crave and deserve.
Many kind-hearted people do their best to help these animals get adopted, whether by opening their own homes to them or spreading the word about the importance of pet adoption.
Among those spreading the word are none other than the New York Jets players.
A couple of days ago, the New York Jets posted a heartwarming video on their TikTok account that captured the hearts of dog lovers everywhere.
In the video, the players are seen holding and playing with adorable pups brought to them by St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center in Madison, New Jersey.
The purpose of their video was to highlight the importance of pet adoption, with the hope that these particular pups would find their forever homes thanks to the team’s efforts.
It looks like they had a lot of fun – what do you think?
The video touched many viewers, who expressed their utmost delight in the comments. One person wrote:
“This is awesome, every team should do this and all the dogs would get adopted very fast.”

There were also some people who wanted to know how many players and coaches actually ended up adopting those pups. But I think that doesn’t really matter.
With such a large platform like the New York Jets, simply spreading the word about dog adoption is impactful enough.
And besides, not many dogs can say they got the chance to run around a professional football field, so I’m thrilled these pups got to experience that.
